CURATORIAL PHILOSOPHY

Public art has the power to shift and shape communities.

Art Common is deeply grounded in place-based curation, where the unique history, geography, and culture of a site shape the curatorial vision.

We employ research practice and community consultation to ensure the resulting artworks and design, not only enhance the aesthetic of public spaces but also contribute to the well-being and identity of communities.

COLLABORATORS

Art Common operates as an independent curatorial consultancy, drawing on an established network of artists, creative practitioners and industry specialists, including designers, architects, engineers, fabricators and technicians, to bring together the right expertise.

This flexible approach combines specialist curatorial knowledge with the ability to assemble tailored project teams to meet the specific needs of each project.
